For years, FTC has been one of the few exclusive partners of the EnQuête d'Arbres association.
Its members travel the world to climb and measure the giant trees of the planet, but also to work with scientists and help with inventories of the biodiversity in rainforests. It also is a very good way to test the FTC products in a rough environment and to particular conditions.
From the end of November to mid-December 2016, Laurent PIERRON, Jérémie THOMAS and Jérémie LEMAITRE journey through Tasmania, large island South of Australia: the Evercreech Forest Reserve, the Florentine Valley, the Arve Valley etc. There they find mythical trees with evocative names such as the White Knights, Still Sorrow, Centurion or Rullah Longatyle (Strong girl in the Aborignal native tongue).
A 3 week-adventure among fantastic trees, our 3 climbers come back with wonderful pictures, memories of great moments… and the eagerness to keep the adventure going !
