REPAIR LABEL

REPAIR LABEL

FTC was the first manufacturer who developed thin splices that could pass through mechanical prusiks like the ZigZag and the SpiderJack. It was back in 2013, the foundations for SlimTECH® were laid. In the meantime, we have kept looking for new tips and tools to ease the job.

PPE-check is an obligation, but above all a way to follow the gear condition and its ageing. We wanted to make the work easier for both PPE-inspectors and the users of our ropes.
We are now using red marking labels for all repair splices on our PPE ropes. It is already implemented in our workshop, and will soon be with our partners. This way, both user and PPE inspector will be able to quickly know when a rope has been modified (eg. new splice, shortening). Caution: modifying PPE is forbidden, only the manufacturer or his partners (under certain conditions) can modify PPE ropes.

We can provide you with repair labels to your logo (under training conditions).
