This tool brings comfort in creating an axis (the trunk) that allows the climber to rotate when working. This way it gives more ease of movement.
It is used to rapidly put a lanyard under tension, thus securing the climber by reducing the potential height of a fall (in case the gaffs slip out).
Can be used on trunks from 20 cm diameter (7.87 in). Its length can be very simply adjusted. To optimise and keep a stable position when working, the maximum length corresponds to shoulder width.
Must be used with a triple lock EN362 carabiner.
