The association was created in 2011 by 2 arborists, Jérémie and Laurent, in order to help scientists for their research in rainforests. Both climbers were aware of how important it was for the scientists to be independent in the trees and in a potentially very hostile environment.
This is why they created a specific training for scientists: to help them achieve the necessary autonomy to conduct their research work safely in the canopies of rainforests.
Simultaneously, and not unlike the mountain climbers, Jérémie and Laurent are looking for the highest trees in the world - to climb and measure them - a “Seven summits” for arborists. Trees have led them to Tasmania, Borneo, Papua… An already long list of explorations and expeditions in the forests of all continents. For more, find photos/videos/stories here:
