Micro-cylindre 2.1Weighing in at only 1.7 kg and having an MBS at 40 kN, our Micro-Cylindre provides the best weight/breaking strength ratio available. It’s ready to install, so just pop open the storage box when it arrives.
Description
MICRO-CYLINDRE 2.1 from FTC is a friction device for rigging rope used in tree care work. It's a rope friction device used in minor felling operations to hold and lower cut branches or logs.
This is the most compact and lightweight friction system in its category. Made entirely of aluminium, the Micro-Cylindre doesn't heat up or burn ropes. The rubber bumpers keep it stable. It is a smart choice to add to existing FTC lowering devices.
The round ring on the top allows for reeving, and two fairleads at the tip of the cylinder keep the rope wraps in place and prevent overlapping. The symmetrical design allows a worker on foot to stand to the right or the left.
